We just got back from the doctor's office.  Charmaine was pretty sure nothing had changed since Tuesday and the doctor confirmed it today.  We talked more about what this means and the doctor put it this way: "It's like trying to fit a beach ball through a mouse hole."  He then smiled, shrugged his shoulders and said "but we need to keep an open mind."

The cool thing is that we now have a plan: If nothing has changed between now and next Tuesday we're to call the "case room" at 6:30AM and then head to the hospital at 7:30AM for a Non Stress Test.  The specialist will do a quick exam and then decide whether or not to induce.  If the baby is not in distress they'll let us have a shot a natural labour first.  The likelihood of a c-section is still very high but the specialist will make that call next week.

Charmaine is feeling more positive now.  We have had a lot of encouraging phone calls and emails from friends and family and are feeling very loved and cared for.

So unless things change--and they always do--we should have the baby the middle of next week.  That's four more nights of peaceful sleep.
