Seven months ago we thought today (Jan 14) was the official due date.  The ultrasound at the end of August disagreed with our calendar dates which is how we ended up with January 2nd as a due date.  Well, its the 14th and still no baby yet.  From this point forward the baby is officially overdue by any data we care to look at.  Charmaine has been a real trooper and as hard as these last weeks have been for her she has not been complaining or whining.  If anything, we're more in love with each other now than ever before.

Charmaine has been experiencing some tightenings which is a good sign but the baby's head is still not in the right position. We've tried to put the pregnancy out of our minds as much as possible and just find other things to think about and occupy our time.  We're both managing to sleep fairly well which has been very nice but we're keeping a low profile for the next few days as we have found it very draining to be around other people.

Its a little odd but life seems to have lost a little of its flavor over the past few weeks.  Food doesn't taste as good, TV shows are pointless and shopping isn't much fun anymore.  Chocolate is still wonderful so we've been indulging ourselves a little everyday.  It gives us a reason to leave the house and get some fresh air.

Tomorrow we head back to the hospital for another NST and assessment.
